Day 29
I (Bekah) arrived in Ottawa last night after a relatively good flight. Customs agents are never very friendly and were very confused as to why I wanted to spend 23 days in Ottawa. There were four young guys working and I never saw anyone smile.
Today it is around 55 degrees, windy and pouring rain. It's wonderful! Kevin and I seem to have rain wherever we go; Chicago, Boston, and now Ottawa. But when my friends let me know it was 109 in Riverside today, I didn't mind.
Kevin and I went to Tim Horton's for breakfast. It's basically a Duncan Doughnuts. I had Tim Bits and Kevin had a Canadian Maple. 
We went to the market and bought some food. Kevin and I haven't eaten very well while we have been apart so we are excited to have a home cooked meal. Tonight however, Kevin is taking me out to a nice dinner. There is a (relatively) fancy steakhouse downstairs we are going to try.
